On Being Featured in Tatler

This month, E.L.S is featured in Tatler's October 2026 issue, with the Celeste Trench appearing in The Style Spotlight. For a brand founded in Sydney only a few months ago, it is a moment worth pausing on.

E.L.S was built on a simple idea: that the pieces worth investing in are the ones that become part of how you dress. A trench you reach for without thinking. A knit that changes the way the rest of your wardrobe feels. Fabrics you notice the moment you touch them.

From the beginning, the studio has focused on premium fabrics, considered tailoring and pieces designed to be worn well beyond a season. E.L.S works with natural fibres including cotton, wool and silk, produces in limited quantities, and designs for women who know their own taste rather than dress for every passing trend.

The trench has always been one of those rare pieces that earns its place in a wardrobe year after year. The Celeste is cut from soft premium cotton with a refined sateen finish, and shaped with a sculptural funnel neck, reversible belt detailing, and a silhouette that can be worn structured or relaxed.

E.L.S is built around fabric, proportion and a clear point of view, rather than the pace of trends. To see that approach recognised in Tatler, this early in the life of the brand, feels significant. It is not simply about seeing the E.L.S name in print. It is seeing a piece developed over months, from the fabric and proportion to the smallest finishing details, reach a wider audience.

For now, thank you to Tatler for including us, and to everyone who has followed E.L.S from the beginning.
