Meet the Founder

Founder and Creative Director Tarryn Candice launched E•L•S with a vision to create modern womenswear that balances timeless design with contemporary wearability as luxury has to be of our time and timeless at the same time.
Raised in South Africa, her appreciation for craftsmanship and intentional dressing began through the wardrobes of her mother and grandmothers, where garments were chosen carefully, tailored well and worn for years.
Her design perspective was further shaped while working at a fashion house in Düsseldorf, Germany, where she developed a deeper understanding of garment construction, tailoring, proportion and detail.
These experiences became the foundation of E•L•S: a modern fashion label centred around elevated essentials, seasonless dressing and premium craftsmanship.
Now based in Sydney, Australia, Tarryn designs collections for women seeking refined, versatile pieces that move effortlessly between occasions, seasons and lifestyles.
Through E•L•S, she encourages a more considered approach to dressing by investing in high-quality wardrobe staples designed for longevity and timeless wearability.
